It depends on what you want to achieve.  We use Insight from Riada, which is connected with  JIra Service desk. This works pretty good.

For basic asset management you can use Jira Core. It is not ideal to link it to Jira Service desk, but  still a good way to start asset management. u will find a guide on how to use it here: https://3kllhk1ibq34qk6sp3bhtox1-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/assetebook.pdf
