Hi,
we installed the JIRA-Salesforce connector (trial license) and also activated successfully the authentication between JIRA and Salesforce.
We used the Case-Mapping between JIRA and Sales force and as we directly want to have the Reporter as a contact in the SF case, we are using the following JIRA outbound mapping:
JIRA Reporter --> Contact Email
If we now want to push the JIRA issue to Salesforce we are getting the following error message:
Unable to create/update fields: ContactEmail. Please check the security settings of this field and verify that it is read/write for your profile or permission set.
We already checked all permission sets in Salesforce but there is no possibility to change it to write any data directly into the field "Contact Email". Additionally, it´s also not a real option to map all reports (which are customers) to the SF attribute "Contact ID" as we have too many contacts to map all of them manually.
Online forums and learning are now in one easy-to-use experience.
