What IPs or hostnames does Jira Server use to communicate with Slack on the official integration?

Tito June 18, 2019

I want to install the Jira Server for Slack (official) plugin on my Jira Server instance, since webhooks are becoming a pain to manage and I like the unfurling features provided. However, I need to know the hostnames or IPs that I would have to whitelist on our firewall so Slack can talk to Jira, because I can't open our Jira installation to all incoming traffic.

Slack has a braindead design. They run from AWS, but do not use Elastic IPs. You may as well expose your Jira instance the whole internet. Amazon has a LOT of IPs. You would need to whitelist all current and future Amazon IP netblocks.
