I'm having problems logging in to the Opsgenie app on iOS 18.6.2. I have never used the app, so there has never been a successful login. I can log in to the web version on the same iOS device, so I know my credentials work.
My login email is connected to Microsoft Login. I go through the regular MS login flow, but it ends with an error dialog that wants to take me to Edge. The error code is 530081.
After login in through Edge, the browser wants to jump back to Opsgenie but fails with not being able to find the app.
I have turned off Fingerprint protection for all browsing.
I have cleared all stored web content that I can find.
I have reinstalled Opsgenie and restarted the device a number of times.
What am I missing?
Hello Christian,
Thank you for reaching out to Opsgenie community. I am Nayan, happy to help.
Please try the below steps:
Go to your iOS Settings > Safari > Set as Default Browser.
Make sure you are not using Private Browsing mode.
Try logging in to Opsgenie again.
In Safari settings, ensure Private Browsing is off and cookies are allowed.
This usually means the redirect from Edge back to Opsgenie is failing.
Try deleting Edge, setting Safari as default, and logging in again.
If you must use Edge, ensure your IT admin has configured the device and app for Edge-based SSO handoff.
If you are still facing the issue, please do raise a ticket with us here. This will enable us to take a deeper look into the issue and assist you further.
Regards,
Nayan
