How does On Call Scheduler work when you create more than one rotation and the participants overlap?

I need to have two participants overlap so two people get the call.

What happens to the routing in this case?

Hi there David, 

Thanks for writing into Community, I'm Talar from the Atlassian Opsgenie support team, happy to help!

When you have overlapping entries likes this, both those users will receive notifications for the same alert at the same time (as dictated by your teams routing rule/escalation policy). 

The only exception to this is if you're using the "Incoming Call" integration - the live call will only go to 1 user at a time.
