Hey 👋
we want to get the fastest possible information, when something goes wrong in the Atlassian Cloud products. Therefore we want to integrate the Atlassian status from https://status.atlassian.com/ into Jira or OpsGenie.
There are different options to achieve that. One scenario could be, to have as many automation rules, as there are status pages to subscribe to with a dedicated webhook and create / update tickets using this way.
Another scenario could be to use the native integration within OpsGenie and have as many integrations as there are status pages to subscribe to with a dedicated webhook.
Would anyone like to share experiences or best practices on how it was done within your use case?
That's highly appreciated.
Cheers, Alex
Hi @Alex Ziegltrum ,
All of Altassian's Statuspages are published publicly, so you can select them and all of their components from within Opsgenie external services, which will allow you to automatically create alerts when any Atlassian service has an outage. Here are the instructions for setting up external services:

Hi @John M
thanks for the link, I haven't come across this page yet. I'll try it out.
So, is this also a recommendation, to monitor the Atlassian statuses with OpsGenie vs. creating JSM tickets by the webhook call?

I wouldn't necessarily say it's recommended over using JSM, it really depends on exactly what you're trying to do.
