I have several teams: A, B and D
A, B work on specific incidents + work during non business hours
And team D is working on all kind of incidents + work on business hours.
For specific reason, we can ask to call team D directly, we need to call team A, B, C directly.
My idea was to said:
0 min On call users in team D, if not acknowledged
5 min On call users in team A, if not acknowledged
But, as explained during non business hours, there will be no active users in team D -> What happens in this case? Can we explicitly as to call user in team A if no active users (and not lose 5min) ?

Chris here from the Opsgenie support team. You will need to build out a different escalation policy for how you handle and treat after-hours alerts. The routing rule is where the alert will check which escalation policy to apply. You can add a routing rule with the time intervals to catch those alerts and apply a specific afterhours escalation policy that does the right step to not miss any time.
