Let’s Celebrate! Jira Service Management receives PinkVerify ITIL 4 Certification

We’ve got exciting news!

Jira Service Management has passed the PinkVERIFY ITIL 4 assessment and as such, has been officially certified as ITIL® compatible by Pink Elephant, the world’s leading IT Service Management education and consulting provider.

So, what's this mean? Over the past few months, Atlassian worked with an accredited IT management consultant from Pink Elephant to assess and confirm the general, core, and integration suitability requirements in the following ITIL 4 practices:

  • Change Enablement

  • Incident Management

  • IT Asset Management

  • Knowledge Management

  • Service Catalog Management

  • Service Configuration Management

  • Service Request Management

Who is Pink Elephant?

A premier global training, consulting and conference service provider, Pink Elephant has an undisputed reputation for leading the way when it comes to IT. They have introduced and spearheaded many revolutionary concepts and programs since 1980.

What Is PinkVERIFY?

You’ve probably heard of it if you’ve been in the ITSM space for a while, but since 1998, PinkVERIFY has been endorsed by the IT service management community as an internationally recognized ITSM tool suite assessment service. It was developed to:

  • Help ITIL/ITSM practitioners identify software tools that can support their process improvement initiatives

  • Provide ITSM tool vendors and service providers with a process to demonstrate and certify a product’s compatibility with ITIL best practices

PinkVERIFY represents a beacon of quality and trust because each PinkVERIFY-certified tool has been rigorously assessed by Pink’s expert consultants to determine the tool’s compatibility with numerous ITIL v3 processes and ITIL 4 practices, as well as terminology, functionality, integration, and workflow requirements.

PinkVERIFY certification allows software tool vendors to hold a valid PinkVERIFY trademark license and use the PinkVERIFY logo for marketing purposes.

Why PinkVERIFY?

PinkVerify is known as The Industry’s #1 Stamp of Approval for ITSM Tools.

Savvy IT practitioners and software vendors understand the importance of a PinkVERIFY-certified toolset.

It’s recognized as the assessment certification to achieve for IT service management software – it demonstrates a superior commitment to ITIL® best practices needed to support specific processes.

This is a really good info, but is not enough to compete with other vendors, if you take a look at the pink verify tools, there are other vendors with more practices, and that is a problem for us when our clients ask for the other practices.

Do you have a roadmap to certificate must of the proceses to be able to compete in the same conditions with the others.

Thanks

Stéphane A.

Why don't we see practices like that ?

Hi,

Actually Atlassian isn't in the list - https://www.pinkelephant.com/en-US/pinkverify/pinkverify-certification at all

Some customers require to have "Stamp of Approval" from PinkVerify.

  • Does anyone know why Atlassian disappeared from the list?
  • Does anyone know if Atlassian will be on the list again?

Regards

Martin

Grady,  Seconding the question from Martin from a few days ago.  Why is JSM not longer listed on the Pink Elephant page?
