Looking at how to setup insight and I am a little stuck.
We are going to be updating information into Insight from an external asset system we have, it's old but it is heavily integrated. One of the key pieces of information is the "Assigned User" from our current system. There are two fields, their full name or the samAccountName which matches back to AD.
In JSM I understand the customer name isn't stored as a value like the samAccountName but it's basically just a string.
What approach could I take that when a customer puts in an incident into JSM the agent will be able to click insight from the incident and get a list of that users assets.
How will JSM know to match the imported customer name value from Insight.
