Capping # of tickets assigned to user

Is this possible? We have people being assigned too much work and need a way to "cap" it.

Hi @Ben Weisman ,

my suggestion is to create a pie chart gadget in one of your dashboard with a filter for Open Issue grouped by assignee.

In that way you will have evidence about open issues assignment per user basis.

Moreover, there is an embedded report for Service Desk project (Workload in the report section) that provide you that information.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

@Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_  Thanks.

Preferably though this is not something we would have to monitor. JIRA would take care of it. Not possible?

Please go to Reports and then click to Workload

Thanks @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ but again I dont want to monitor a widget. Is there no way that JIRA can automatically cap the # of issues assigned to a user for any given day?

@Ben Weisman , do you want an automatical assign based on the workload? Please describe your requirement

@Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ I want people to not be assignable when there is X amount of unresolved tickets already assigned to them.

You can't do that using builtin features.
