We are setting up our change management board with customers to have product access. Under the customer group, I have added the jira service management product but they cant seems to access the Service management project.
We do not want to grant our users an agent role because of it will give them excessive privilege. We want our customers (internal employee) have access to the board to be able to view the changes raise but that's it. Is there a workaround to provide product access to users without providing them agent access?
Hi Ivan,
You need to add them as a Customer in the User Management section of Jira and not just as Customers on the project. The latter just makes them a Portal Only Customer. See the differences here:
