My organization is looking into potentially using JSM assets to record and relate data and as well as link issues to those objects. When I first discovered assets I thought it was a godsend. However, it doesn't look like Atlassian has provided a widget to just display a list in the same way that you can display a list of issues based on a filter.
The ability to show lists of objects and their attributes in jira and confluence is necessary for us and doesn't really seem to be too big of an ask. However, I cannot seem to find any way to do it. I found two apps in the marketplace:
However, after trying them out, it seems they have proven to be too buggy.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to accomplish this?
Hi @Alex Young ,
if the app is buggy, it is always a good idea to contact the app vendor.
In terms of your question, as far as I know there is currently no other solution for displaying assets in confluence. There has been a macro for Confluence server, which has not been brought to cloud yet.
For Jira, I would usually stick to the default views. But maybe you could explain a little bit more what you are trying to achieve.
