Hello,
What is the easiest way to accomplish this? A bug in one project needs a different workflow than a bug in another project. Thanks.
@Ben Weisman , This is a common question. The way we handle this is to create multiple workflows. We name them like this:
Project_Key : Issue_Type Workflow
That way we know exactly what project and issue type the workflow is associated with when just looking at workflow.
When we make updates or changes, we'll add a v2, v3, v4, etc.... to the end so we know which is current and which are older versions.
Once you have all the workflows you need created, Use a different Workflow scheme for each project like @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_ suggested. We name those similarly:
Project_Key: Workflow Scheme
-pjd
Hi @Ben Weisman
That is what workflow schemes do. You can create these schemes and associate issue type > workflows.
