Using the form designer on Jira is okay and good it links to Jira fields for reporting but can you use a form on a different site (one that you can do more advanced/flexible things with) and post it to the Jira system?
If so, what's the best approach? Thanks.
I'm not sure how this would work. There is no form import/export function. Forms is now fully integrated into you Jira instance.
