Hi
We are running JSM for data center. and create a numeric custom field. we need it to be shown on the customer portal with a decimal separator like: (1,234,567.89) or (1,234,567). the issue is when viewing the ticket on the customer portal, it is shown without it like: (1234567.89) or (1234567).
is there any solution or workaround for it?
your support is appreciated.
BR.
Hi @Mustafa Alhumaid ,
I'm not sure if that's supported (or if you can somehow change this behavior on the backend side. I've checked open suggestions related to this requirement but couldn't find anything.
If nothing, I'd maybe suggest reaching out to Atlassian Support if possible and asking them if it's possible. They probably have some better backend knowledge on this matter.
If you do find a solution, feel free to share it here so it may help someone else who also stumbles upon this.
Cheers,
Tobi
Thank you for your suggestion. I have sent a support ticket and waiting for their reply
in the meantime, I was looking for solutions or workarounds for it. and stepped abound this issue ticket: [JSDSERVER-6975] Number fields in the customer portal are shown without a floating-point separator - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
It seems like it's a known issue with no fixes.
once they reply I will let you know. and update the thread.
BR.
