Generate a certificate and send as PDF

Hello all, I am working on a support desk setup for a Learning team. They need to send out completion certificates as PDF when a ticket is completed. Is there a way to achieve this? The completion certificate should have the name of the requestor.

Any ideas welcome!

I guess the question here would be, where are PDF certificates generated? If you're using some third-party system to generate the PDF, then I guess you could use REST API, which would attach that certificate to the ticket and then trigger some kind of automation that would send that attachment to the customer.

If you'd like to generate a PDF completely out of JSM, you won't be able to do so natively. I'd recommend checking Marketplace solutions for this requirement, but I don't have any specific recommendations as I didn't have the chance to implement something like this.

Maybe someone else has additional insights on the topic they could share 👀
