Hello, community.
I'm trying to share assets (workstation and other IT equipment) that we track in Assets for Jira Service Management cloud with external users. These are Atlassian users with the "customer" role only, i.e. not paid JSM agents. They need to only view/filter the data in a tabular way, not really edit it.
Do you have any suggestions?
What is your experience with making data from Assets (Insights) available to accountants, business analysts?
Hi @Kalin U,
sharing Dashboards with external users is also a basic functionality of our BI tool Exply :) We aim to make data analysis as easy as it can be.
Let me know if we should schedule a quick demo call to show you around :) Hit me up via fabian@exply.io
Cheers,
Fabian
Hi @Kalin U
We've recently added the feature to publish eazyBI Dashboards in JSM Portal. The set-up process is described here in our documentation: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/publish-reports/publish-in-jsm-portal
You've already found the right place to start setting up Assets in our documentation. If you need any help along the way, you can check out our Community Page https://community.eazybi.com/ or reach out to us at support@eazybi.com, and we will assist you as best as we can :)
To get started with eazyBI, you can check out these Training videos that cover the main concepts: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/learn-more/training-videos
There is also a Training video on Assets(Insight) and how you can analyze data from it in eazyBI: https://docs.eazybi.com/eazybi/learn-more/training-videos/training-videos-on-specific-topics#Trainingvideosonspecifictopics-ExploreInsightAssetManagementdatawitheazyBI (starts at ~16:30)
