How to import into Asset and have capitalized objects treated the same as non capitalized

Looking to import from CSV  into Assets. Different Data sources have different formatting ( like for Hostname - EG one source says hostname - ABCDE and the other says -  abcde). Some have it Capitalized some do not. Is there a way to force Jira to see them as the same items? Right now,  the import is creating new items for things that are not capitalized but already exist in Jira with the name capitalized

I would try the import with the Edit Object type mapping case insensitive
