How to prevent multiple emails for an automation rule

Beth Wilkinson

I have created an automation rule that will send an email if attachments are attached to a subtask, the only issue is, it sends multiple identical emails to the TO user for each attachment that was attached. How can I prevent it from sending multiple emails and only send 1?

Here is my automation rule:

Thank you so much in advance for any assistance with this!

Hello @Beth Wilkinson

It appears to me that unfortunately this is not possible, I think although you upload multiple files at the same time, in the background, they gets attached one by one which is considered as a trigger every time a file is uploaded. And hence you receive one email per attachment.

Thank you for the reply, I truly appreciate it!

Hopefully this can be a future feature request within JIRA.
