Ender April 12, 2022

Hello Community,

Is there a way to remove these fields that we do not use in our instance? (Jira Newbie here)

Thank you.Jira.jpg

These are hooks and fields coming from apps you have installed.  They can't be removed without turning off or removing the app providing them.  Some apps have configuration that lets them be turned off on a project by project basis, but I don't know if any of the ones you have support that

Thank you, it was related to some free trial apps / turning them off made these fields go away.

@Ender -

Yes, you can by accessing your project's screen configuration scheme and remove the fields as needed.  However, based on the screenshot, it seems a few of them are associated with your third party add-ons.  So you may want to look into the add-on to see if the add-ons can exclude your project in question, thus their fields will not be applied to your project.

NOTE - For JSM, there are two different categories of project type (Company managed vs Team Managed).  For Company managed type project, you can access the screen scheme associated with the project via "Project settings >> Screens"

On the other hand, for Team managed project, you can access the issue layout view via "Service project settings >> Request types"  (There is no screen scheme same as company managed project(s))

Hope this helps.
