How to segregate the same issue type by groups

Hi everyone!!!

I have this situation.

My users ask me to limit the display/creation of an issue type if they are part of a specific group.

We have two groups L1 and L2, only group L1 can create tickets of a certain type, say "Service Request", besides all other types.
In contrast, group L2 does not have to see nor create the type "Service Request" but all the others do.

How can I handle it?

Hi @Solferino Imperia 

Your Jira is Server/Datacenter?

You could add a validator in create transition.

Its not possible hide issuetype for role/groups natively.

With Scriptrunner you could hide the issuetype in create screen.
