How to set different timetables in the same calendar?

David Romero Ortolá April 5, 2019

Hi,

We have set, for our SLAs, a timetable that goes from 9:00h to 19:00h from Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 to 15:00h on Fridays (this is our work time in Winter).

However, during summer, our work time changes and it is from 8:00h to 15:00h everyday. Is it possible to combine both work times in one calendar? If so, how?

Thanks in advance,

David Romero

Hi,

I agree with @Jack Brickey , but as workaround you can try something like this JQL for definition as Summer (with summer calendar).

priority = Blocker and created >= "2019/05/01" and created <= "2019/09/30"

But you should configure this in advance for next two or three years at least at first positions of goals and for Winter just leave it without days at bottom of goals and set winter calendar. I don't test it, but I think it can work , just remember for adding summer ddefinitions after two years. :-)

Let me know if it's fit your use-case.

Thank you Petr! I will try this in the next days and come to you if it it works or not!

Kind regards,

David

Hi Petr,

It worked! The only thing is that, I don't know why, you have to put first the "creation" condition and then the "priority" condition, at least in my case.

Thank you very much!

David

This is not possible. You should simply add a summer calendar and switch between them. There may be an addon so check Marketplace.

Hi Jack,

But, if I do so, the system will apply the SLAs set for Summer also for Winter and, then, it will recalculate the times of response from the issues that belong to Winter, isn't it?

Thanks,

David
