Hello,
we have a problem with our knowledge base.
We create an index page, so that our users can click through our article structure, so like a table of contents, where you can open sub-chapters.
For the users who have only access to the "frontend", so the service desk, this overview is not loading.
For user who have access to the "backend", it is loading.
Hello @Julian Reichle,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
When linking a Confluence space to a Service project, some macros added to the pages may not load on the customer portal.
There are some macros that will contain information that can only be viewed for licensed users, so it will not load or it will show an error if a customer views it, but if a licensed user accesses the portal, it will work for them.
I tested here and the Table of contents macro should work for customers, so I would like to confirm what macro you are using.
With this information, we can test here to confirm the behavior and create a feature request if necessary.
Kind regards,
Angélica

Thank you for the details, @Julian Reichle.
The page three not loading on the portal is a known bug:
Please, click on “This affects my team” and also watch it to receive notifications of when the bug is fixed.

Hi Julian,
The workaround would be to use the Children Display Macro, but it would require moving all the pages to be under a parent, so the macro would show all the pages that would be similar to the Page Tree macro.
Another thing that I tested here and it works, it’s to enable anonymous access. Go to Space settings > Space permissions > General > Edit permissions and then enable the View for Anonymous. The problem here is that people outside of your organization will be able to view the pages in case they find your Confluence via Google, for example.
