My company have different projects in JSM and each project have different workflows defined by different issue types.

Is it possible to have multiple Kanban boards for each issue type in Jira Service Management?

Hi @Roberto Gimenez Alapont , JSM provides "Views" which is a recently added Kanban board. While you are not able to create multiple "Views" you can create additional Kanban boards. You create different filters and save these so that you can use them to create additional boards. You will need to save them to your profile as the Location as you cannot save them directly to the project as you can with software projects. Once created you can then create a shortcut to the board within your project allowing your team to quickly access.

Hi @Roberto Gimenez Alapont

Boards (Scrum/Kanban) are part of Jira Software, not JSM.
If your site has Jira Software enabled, you can create separate Kanban boards using JQL filters for each issue type in the JSM project.

Steps:

  1. Go to Boards > View all boards > Create board.

  2. Choose "Create a Kanban board".

  3. Choose “Board from an existing project” or “Board from a filter”.

  4. Use a filter like:
project = "Your JSM Project" AND issuetype = "Incident"

  5. Name your board like "Incident Board".

  6. Repeat for other issue types (e.g., Request, Problem, Change).

Hi @Roberto Gimenez Alapont

Welcome to the community.

No this can't be done.

You can use a work-around, setup a company managed project and create multiple boards on that project referencing the JSM projects in the board filter.
