Issues not appearing in projects

Adrian Criado Garrido December 4, 2023

We have a jira machine which we restart daily, some days when we enter to work we see that we can not comment on the incidents and that within the projects no ticket is seen in the queues. We have detected that when restarting the jira service, this is solved, but we need to know why the tickets disappear.

Hi @Adrian Criado Garrido

In relation to the index topic @Mayur Jadhav mentions, check you log files on any issues.

Hi @Adrian Criado Garrido ,

I hope you are doing well!!

To provide fast searching, Jira creates an index of the text entered into issue fields. This index is stored on the file system and updated whenever issue text is added or modified. It's sometimes necessary to regenerate the index manually. For example, when you add a new custom field or if the index is lost or corrupted.

Once issues have been created, modifying the configuration of your Jira instance can result in the search index becoming out-of-sync with Jira's configuration.

I would suggest you to perform jira reindexing. For more information please have a look at -
