Opsgenie migration to JSM - teams duplication

I have a set of teams in Opsgenie that don`t match 1-1 to the Jira teams but may contain the same members. I would like to know what happens after migrating opsgenie into JSM. WIll "new" teams be created as imported from Opsgenie?

I am afraid that this will create duplications, if so can I merge them after?

Or do you advise to rename them either in JSM or Opsgenie in order to have them perfectly match?

Per the documentation:

Once you move to Jira Service Management, your current Opsgenie teams will become Atlassian teams and you will gain access to operations.

Teams can have the same name, so renaming a team before the migration won't matter. If you end up with duplicate teams, you'll need to merge them after.
