Automation for updating SM tickets based on the status of their linked SP tickets

Hello everyone

I'd like to create an automation which would 

change the status of a Service Management Ticket when 
its linked Software project tickets (tickets from different software projects) are on a certain status or added to a release version. 


Is this possible to be done?
If yes how?

Yes, it is possible to create an automation rule to change the status of a Service Management Ticket when its linked Software project tickets are on a certain status or added to a release version. You can edit the "Update when a linked issue changes" rule in your service project to suit your needs. You can also use automation rules and service relationships to flag changes that could impact a critical service before those changes go live. Additionally, deployment events sent from Jenkins can trigger Jira automation rules to automate change management processes.

when the associated tickets are in a specific status or have been added to a release version, a Service Management Ticket might have its status changed.
