Hello,
I'm in the process of creating a new Customer Request Form in which a the client might need to enter between 1 to 6 steps in different custom fileds. My problem is each case will be different, some tickets might need just 2 steps and other might need up to 6. so my question is : Is there a way to add a botton or something that says ADD STEP that generate a new custom field in thid request form ?
What you are looking for can be done in ProForma or Jira Forms, depending on whether your instance has reached the migration from ProForma to Forms or not.
With this approach, you can setup dynamic forms with various question fields added as radio buttons or dropdowns as you like. The nice thing is that fields you use to drive the dynamic form do NOT have to be Jira fields; they can exist for the purposes of the form alone.

Forms are a live saver. And it also allows you to copy the necessary fields to existing customfields if required.

Hello,
Thank you for the quick response, but that's not really what i was hoping for.
what i need is something that would allow the customer to add an extra "step" field that they can fill in with the information that has to be shared, and it has to be on the request form in the portal. i know what i'm asking for is very specific but i would really appreciate it if anyone could help with this.
