Create Custom Summary Fields

Hi all,

Just looking into some Automation for our Service Requests to change the summary field (subject).

I've managed to use the 'COPY' option bring in a certain field



But I'd like to add in more. Would I need to do this via a JSON file?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Jack,

you can edit the summary or any other field in an automation using smart values:

Hi guys, sorry, I've managed to sort it now. 

I was entering the smart values wrong for the summary.

Can you provide more information what you want to do on updating issue's summary field?  Keep in mind that Summary field is a single line of text and there is a limitation of 256 characters.
