I would like to for an issue tobe automatically closed in the GOLIVE status if there is no feedback or response.
I already created but I do not know how to test it without waiting for 14 days.
Hi Vivianne,
As this is a similar topic to the one raised earlier, here's the link to another question that might give you some insights: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Auto-close-ticket-if-no-response-in-7-days-and-reopen-if-replied/qaq-p/2845681

Hi @Vivianne Guillaume and welcome to the community!
If you have already created an automation using the "Scheduled"-trigger and you wish to fire of the automation without having to wait 14 days, as you already have issues matching the criteria?
For all automations with scheduled triggers, you can find a "Run now" action from the three dots in the top right corner.
Hope that helps!
Best, Tobias

Welcome to the community !!
As suggested by @Tobias H , make use of scheduled trigger and run now option from it.
But make sure you try in a small bunch of tickets first. i.e. in JQL condition, instead of giving whole JQL, give something like issuekey = ABC-1, so that automation runs only on one ticket.

I appreciate your efforts in assisting me with this challenge I am facing. I run the trigger but it shows an error. Below is the error and what my rule looks like

Does the workflow allow for transitions between GoLive and Closed directly?
Either by transition arrows or by Closed allowing any transition to move to it?

I believe so. Here is an image of the transition setting.

In the automation creator you can select any workflow status, it will just end up in an error as it did for you.
Instead, visit one of the failed issues like IT-44 and press the status dropdown and select "View workflow". This should tell you whether it's possible to transition the issues directly or not. (And in case they have different issue types, you'll need to check more than one workflow)
So when you watch an issue (IT-44, for example) in the GoLive status, the Closed status need to be visible in the dropdown.
Otherwise you will need to edit the workflow to include either:
A direct transtion arrow (1) between GoLive and Closed
Or an Any transition (2) on Closed to allow everything to transition to it

So I saw that all the ones with Golive are completed and the closed status is not visible in the dropdown for either those or the ones that a still in either in final approval, open, and waiting for support. The issue I actually wanted to use for the test run is still in final approval stage.
Do I wait until there is another in Golive before I can check whether is has the closed status visible in the dropdown?
I appreciate you so much for your direction, patience and assistance.

If you don't have anything to check on in the GoLive status right now, you can go into any of the issues that share the same issue type and press "View Workflow".
If you can see "Any" next to Closed, or an arrow going from GoLive to Closed, then you'll know that the transition is possible.
And my pleasure, we'll figure this out together! :D

I have checked, there is neither "Any", "Closed" nor arrow going from GoLive to Closed.
I appreciate it :)
