How can I trigger an automation from multiple approvals?

Hello Everyone.

I am trying to create an automation which, when 2 approvers approve an issue, then it automatically makes a transition to a new status based off that and adds a comment automatically to inform the customer.

The issue I have is that the message to inform the customer gets triggered after the first approval is given, it doesn't wait for both approvals and the issue transition - how can I fix this?

Something to check on first:

1. Are you sure it's not set up to transition on the first approver by mistake. It should look like this for two approvers.:


If this is correct can you "show" me what you have for both the approval and the message settings?

It sounds like you have configured your workflow to automatically transition on 1 approval instead of all. Here is what I would do. I would update the workflow so it requires two approvals and then have the automation trigger on the transition to the approved status to add the comment for the customer.
