I'm using Jira cloud and I'm not a Jira administrator. The custom field should be visible while viewing the ticket but not while creating a new ticket. I want to show limited fields while creating a new ticket.
Hello @Sachin Rohra ,
[refer here you as one with admin permission]
As you mention you are using a Team Managed project, this is not an option in this project type.
You need to use a company managed project, there you can have a screen scheme with 3 different screens for create, edit and view.

Hello @Sachin Rohra
What type of project does this concern? Get that information from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.
You did post in the Jira Service Management forum, but I don't like to make assumptions based on the forum. And that does not tell me if the project is Team Managed or Company Managed.
If this concerns a Jira Service Management project, are you wanting to hide the field from Customers creating issues through the Customer Portal, or from internal Jira users who may be creating the issue directly in Jira?

Here is the answer to your questions:
1. It is a Team managed project. (Software project)
2. We want to hide the few custom fields from our internal Jira users.
Can you please guide?
