We are setting up Jira Service Management to handle incidents. When an incident occurs I can see that you can manage stakeholders but this looks like it will only send updates to people who have access to Jira Service Management. It looks like it's the same story in Opsgenie.
Is there no way of adding people/email addresses that don't have a license.
Thanks
Ed
Hi @Ed Parker - This should be possible with automation. You can create a rule with a send email action and send to any desired email addresses.
Hi Ed, i noticed the same. A way to add user who don't need license is to set them up as customers or customers in an organization. Your team would need to add these users' email addresses to be registered in the system.
I just don't think it's possible to add them on the fly when you're actually responding. You might need an add-on as we cannot add an email address or tag someone with an email address and expect them to receive the update/ notification.
