Lookup objects to get user id

Wolff Sébastien August 21, 2025

Hello,

I'm using the looking object to get a value of my assets. I need to get an attribute having a user type.

I can't get the value of the user attribute. If i add the value to the audit log, the value is empty :

I also ty to use an admin user to launch the automation, but the variable is still empty. Do you have an idea to get the accountid of a user attribute type ?

Thank you.

HI @Wolff Sébastien

Can you show your complete automation rule and a related asset object, where this attribute is set.

Try this.

After the lookup, set a log action that shows the found object and the Utilisateur attribute information {{lookupObjects.Utilisateur}.

Then you can create this also to create the variable.

Hello @Marc - Devoteam ,

Thank you for your feedback. I try with the smart value {{lookupObjects.Utilisateur}}. It's working....

I think i try with this one earlier. I don't know why it didn't give the value. I maybe make a mistake...
