We've acquired a company and want to move all tickets from their system to ours. Can someone point me in the right direction to documentation that explains the best practice for this?

Thanks @Liam Green . One thing it doesn't seem to mention is custom fields, workflows, schemes etc. Do those carry over automatically?

@Ben Weisman - Is it just JSM projects you want to migrate? Which option from the article were you thinking of using?

@Ben Weisman - if it's JSM then you wouldn't be able to use cloud to cloud migration - you'd need to use one of the other options to either go via data centre or recreate the project and migrate just the issues. Unfortunately each has their drawbacks. Depending on the option you choose, the article has links to documents, such as this one, that explain what will and won't transfer
