I'm getting an error on an automation that previously worked:
I must be missing something in the documentation because I cant find how to give the Jira user permission to approve issues, much less give another user this permission!

@Alex Otto : Could you provide more detail on what the automation rule does? That will help me understand why this no longer works.
I'm wondering whether this user (or their associated role within the project) no longer has certain permissions.
Alternatively, if it's a bug, I'll get to the bottom of it once I've got a bit more information.

Also users who are trying to update this field manually are unable to search in the user picker, it returns no options instead of displaying relevant results.
