Automate custom field in parent link based on % value from child links

Hello,

I need an automation which does the following action:

• Automate the average field "Avancementt" in parent link based on values of field "% Avancement" from child links.

What i have got so far:

Basically, when the values for "% Avancement" of ISPF-292, ISPF-290 (Linked issues) and ISPF-291, ISPF-288 (Child issues) are changed, the calculation of the field "Avancementt" should occur on ISPF-289 (Objectif - Parent Link).

But the problem is that the average is being calculated with only the linked issues.

Can anyone help how to calculate the average for field "Avancementt" in parent link by considering all linked issues and child links?

Do you want the rule triggered by a change in the field in one of the linked or child issues, or is it triggered by a change in the field in the parent issue?

What are the issue types of these issues (parent, linked, and children)? The default issue hierarchy in Jira is

Epic level issues
|-- base level issues
    |-- subtask level issues

At what level is the issue type for each of the issues in this use case?

The rule will be trigerred when child or linked issue will be changed.

The issue type could be both a linked issue or a child issue.

The aim is to have the sum of % Avancement in the parent issue(Ticket).

When I asked about the issue type I am trying to understand  that in terms of the issue hierarchy I described. Is.the parent issue at the Epic level or the base level? What level are the linked and child issues?

I see the parent issue type is Object. What is the name of the issue type for the child and linked issues? Is that the only type of issue you would want to consider in the calculation?

Is relates to the only type of link you use to link these types of issues together? 

Do you use that link type to link Object issues to other types of issues? If so would you want those other types of linked issues included in the calculation?

Is %Avancement a Number field?
