Hello everyone!
I need to be able to send Calendar invites from workflow post function with information from the fields. The Automation rules for MS Teams invite works only for Incidents. I need a solution for all request types, to send Outlook invite when I transition to a specific status, to the reporter of the ticket. Any ideas?
Hi @Anandhi Arumugam _Cprime_
Thanks for your questions. You can achieve this requirement with the Microsoft 365 for Jira app. This app allows you to send Outlook calendar invites automatically based on certain triggers (e.g. status changes). You can also use field values to add the relevant attendees.
Unlike the built-in MS Teams invite automation (which is limited to Incidents), Microsoft 365 for Jira works across all request types.
You'll find more information in the documentation:
Automation: Actions
Please note, that I work for yasoon, the company developing the app.
If you're interested, I'd be happy to show you everything in a meeting: Book a Demo
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Patrick
Thanks @Patrick Schüßler _yasoon_ I tried the app already.
1. Created the Action to send outlook email
2. Used Automation rule to send web request to the web hook URL
But seems to be receiving an error, id 2 or id 4. I will raise a support case with you for this.

Can you showcase your current solution with MS Teams and incidents, what is the setup.
We might can figure out a solution for other request types as well.
