Hi,
The automation rule has been passed but it shows some errors. You can see the details in the added attachment.
Please give the solution for rule success
Hello @Venkat Jira Admin
On the Rule Details page who is listed as the Actor for the rule?
Does that person/identity have permission to change the status of issues in the project this rule affects? If they do, then the next step is to look at the conditions and validators, as @John Funk suggested.
I added rule actor "automation for jira" in transition issue permission scheme. After that I am getting below error.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Can you confirm the type of project you are working with? Is it a Software, Service, or Work Management project?
And is it Team Managed or Company Managed? That designation will show at the bottom of the panel on the left.
Can you show us the Transition Issue permission settings from the Permission Scheme?
Have you checked to see if there are Conditions or Validators on the workflow transition that limit which users can execute it?
Do you have an Issue Security Scheme associated with the project?

Hi Venkat,
You need to check the transition in the workflow to see if there are any conditions or validators that might be preventing the transition to take place.
