×Hey Atlassian,
Is is possible that you can enable a bulk remove (delete) action in the Cloud Admin User Management UI, so that us admins could filter out deactivated users from a group, and then bulk remove those users?
At the moment this can only happen one by one from the UI, which is really cumbersome.
Thanks in advance!
At the moment Atlassian’s native Cloud Admin UI doesn’t currently allow bulk removal of deactivated users from groups, making it tedious and time-consuming to manage them one by one.
That’s exactly why we built the miniOrange Automated User Management app. With it, you can:
Bulk remove deactivated users from groups in seconds
Instantly filter to find inactive accounts
Keep your directory clean, compliant, and easy to manage with minimal effort
Admins using our app have reported saving hours of manual work and significant operational costs every month.
Would you like me to schedule a quick 10-minute demo so you can see it in action?
Cheers,
Mahima
I see you got your answer already, but here's some workaround options until Atlassian makes bulk actions a priority...
1. Write a script using the Atlassian APIs and run it every so often. Honestly this isn't too hard with all the AI Coding options now a days.
2. Use an App, like Admin Automations (that I build), to bulk deactivate or remove product access on a regular basis. I know bulk actions isn't something that anyone wants to pay extra for... It should be a table-stakes feature offered by Atlassian. Alas, it's not... There's also a bunch of other use cases besides bulk actions on our website, should you be interested.
Hope that helps.

Yeah, I know it's not possible at the moment, this is why I am poking Atlassian by this ticket to act:) I also voted on the JRACLOUD ticket:) Thanks for the article for the workaround, it's at least something...:)

Bulk removal of inactive users would be very helpful. Right now, doing it one by one is definitely time consuming. It would be great if Atlassian could add this to the Cloud Admin UI. Hopefully this feature will be considered soon. Thanks for bringing it up!
