I am having difficuties in editing/deleting queues.
I can create new queue, but once it is created there seems to be no way to edit it. According the documentation, there should be "edit queue" option under three dot button (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-desk-cloud/docs/edit-queues/), but it is not just there. Consequently I cannot modify even the queues which I have created myself.
Here is a screenshot:
I am using cloud hosted instance with next-gen project.
Has anyone come across the same issue or am I just missing something obvious.
Thank You in advance
does not work... tried on safari and chrome on MAC Also tried on IE and chrome on windows...
Zoom doesnt work either....

Hi @Tpilet.Jira.Admin , welcome to the Community. The article you reference is for Classic service desk projects. As you are on a Next-gen things are different. Full disclosure, I do not use NG JSD projects as yet and am unsure if/how queues are created/edited. I was reviewing the Atlassian docs but could not immediately find a reference to managing queues in NG JSD projects. I will have a look at my test NG JSD project and see if I can further assess. It may not be possible to edit but I would hope that if you can create queues you can then edit them. Worse case I guess you can add a new one and delete the old?

I was just testing this out. Indeed there appears to be no "edit" and no way to "remove". Yikes! I checked JAC but did not find any obvious pre-existing open issues for this.
I'm investigating further w/ others and will update when I hear back. If indeed the above is correct I will (as should you) submit feedback to Atlassian on the need.

@Tpilet.Jira.Admin, ok so there are two possible causes here.
i'm betting that it is #1.

I can’t answer that. I was checking this out on an instance where I am not a system admin. Regardless can you please check on my suggestion? Are you the person that created the NG JSD project?

Thank you Jack. I checked internal access settings and added admin role. After that I was able to modify and delete queues.
Still find it a bit odd that an agent can create queues but is unable to delete or modify the same queues.
Anyway, got this one sorted out. Thanks alot.

Agree. I provided that very feedback to Atlassian. It should be an all or nothing behavior.
