Hide existing tickets in the customer portal

Sven Spaniel November 13, 2022

Hello all,

I would like to hide existing tickets in the customer portal. I used to be able to change the request type to "no request type" afterwards, but now unfortunately this only works for new tickets.

Does anyone have any idea how this works lately?

Hi @Sven Spaniel

I am not sure what you mean "this only works for new tickets.".

As a workaround, you can try:

  1. Go to Project settings -> Request types
  2. Duplicate the Request type you would like to hide
    • In the portal groups leave all groups unselected
  3. In the issue view you will now see your new Request Type
  4. After changing the Request Type to the new "Duplicate" you made, the customer will no longer see it

Hi @Patrik Korovsky,
thank you for your reply. But I would like to hide the tickets of the request type not the request type.

With "this only works for new tickets." I mean that you can only specify "No Request Type" when creating a new ticket. Unfortunately, subsequent deletion or change is no longer possible.

Therefore, only newly created tickets would no longer be visible to portal customers. Unfortunately, I cannot hide existing tickets.
