How do I add Dat&Time field to a Request type in the Jira project?

I am not succeeding to add a date and time field into the request type in the area where you are supposed to create fields  there is no option like this, only date and time separately.

I am not clear where you are trying to add the field or why. Can you provide more details?

@John Funk  Hi John! I am trying to create and add this field in the Request type part in Jira project, where I am building which fields will be seen for this request type. Currently I only have a date field, but I want to have date and time field as one and I don't see an option to create such a field.

Okay, still not sure that I am following, but you can create custom fields with date and time and then you can put the field on the Request Type form. 

Is that what you are trying to do?

@John Funk Yes, but I don't have an option to add such a field, Only time stamp of Date field separately.

@John Funk In the Form though, I am able to create Date&Type field, but then I cannot connect it to Jira field from Request type as there is no Date&Type option in Request type section.

Ah, you are using a Team-managed project. You can create a global custom field with that type. Go to Settings > Issues > Custom fields

Create the field with Date and Time. 

After you create it, edit the Context to add your Team-managed project. 

Then come back to your project settings and the Fields like above. Then click on Search all fields and search for the one you just created.
