Currently, my Atlassian account was created for JIRA and Confluence. Another colleague then created JIRA service desk under their own account. We are now at a point where we need to combine these under a single account (preferably mine) but not lose any of the tickets that have been created in Service Desk.
I cannot find any documents or not really sure what to search for to sort this out. Any help or guidance would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks
Luke
Hi Luke,
Thank you for getting in touch with Atlassian Community!
On Jira Cloud, currently, it's not possible to export a project and import to another instance and also not possible to merge accounts.
The best option in this case, as you already have Jira and Confluence under one URL, is to create a new service desk project and import the tickets from one instance to another.
To create the CSV file to import into the instance, you can follow the steps provided on the documentation below:
- Importing data from CSV
This steps will only help you to migrate the tickets from one instance to another, so all other configurations like SLA, Automation, Workflows, Permissions, you will have to configure it manually.
Hope this helps!
If you have any other question, please let us know.

Thanks for your guidance on this. It has helped massively.
Thanks

"Massively"?? There was no solution provided. The csv export is clearly available. Not sure why this is not an available option from Jira. My example is that i have an Internal service Desk and external service desks that are specific to customers. I need to break out the external to their own Jira instance so there are no potential data issues or people seeing what they should not. Yes, i can manage this with permissions and schemes, but maintaining all of that and setting it up seems cumbersome. An option to export a project and make each sheet in the export a different thing to copy - i.e. notification scheme, issue scheme, notification scheme, etc.
Will this ever be an option? Is there something else i should be doing to create a separate customer instance? Also, a key issue is not being able to show the Portal and hid the other Service Desks they should not see. Based on other comments, there is no option to only show certain help desks. And no, i cannot create a group because i don't know who will be hitting the service desk. Maybe by approved domains? but i would have to identify any domains the customer may have in addition so they could create tickets.
Any guidance or help on this would be great!
Thanks,
