How to remove ITSM Sample project reporters in the Reporter field of JIRA SM?

I have removed the ITSM Sample project from our JIRA SM Cloud instance by trashing the project. However, in the Reporter field of issues of 2 other service project, the reporters of the ITSM Sample project are still included in the selectbox dropdown.

How/where can I remove these ITSM Sample project reporters in the Reporter field of JIRA SM so they do not show up in the select box list anymore?

did you deactivate the users as well?

Hi Kai, this is the issue: the ITSM Sample user are not listed anymore in Atlassian Cloud user management as user accounts, even not as deactivated accounts, but they are still listed in the Reporter dropdown.
