Whenever a JSM ticket comes in, sometimes we have to create a linked issue for our software team to resolve it.
I'd like to create an Automation rule to transition the JSM ticket to a "Work Ticket Open" type status whenever a linked issue is created. Is it possible to trigger this kind of move?
Perhaps something like this could work?
Did the following steps and seemed to work:
1. Create JSM issue
2. Create JSW issue
3. From the JSW issue, click "Link issue". I used the relationship "blocks" and link it to the JSM issue I created in step 1.
4. The JSM issue is transitioned to in progress (because that's the status I configured).
