Hi,
it seems that we are not able to sort on departments that are inherited from guest users, and sort those away from creation with the current version of the JSM asset integration with EntraID
JSM Assets - Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Beta Integration | Atlassian Marketplace
while we fully understand that it is a BETA, so some things will be missing, is there something which others have done to sort those away? it seems like it is correctly handling our filter on the user objects, however the departments only seem to be able to filter on anything but the name, and using a "write all the names of the wrong department" is a usable way
ideally it would be nice to have a simple filter to disallow departments that only contain Guest users. either a checkbox or some AQL query that can do the filtering on the object import
Write a review to the app on the marketplace or reach out to Atlassian for feedback.
You can still update the department objects, by adding new attributes and you these values as differentiators.

i would, but there is no feedback form on the app. unless you mean to include it in a review, which seems a bit pointless for what is essentially a feature request. and the support tab just refers to the forum

Anything build by Atlassian Labs is non-supported.
This is clearly stated on the app page.
But why don't you add attributes on the departments you can use this information

as i have stated before, it makes no sense in a logical view where you have multiple tenants connected using B2b sync in EntraID, that these are always also synced.. many businesses are in structures where such a setup is needed for the business to function. and i am simply making a request. there is no reason towards your language. if you dont want to assist with anything actually usefull, you are more than welcome to leave this post.
hope you have an excellent day

Thank you for you unfriendly comment.
You can get a paid solution from the marketplace, that will sort you out.
Or get in contact with Atlassian.
