Jira Service Management and Opsgenie

Keith Hubner October 6, 2021

I'm trying to integrate service management, opsgenie and status page to deal with major incidents.

It would seem that I have two opsgenie accounts, one which shows when I click the app from the menu and a different one when I click on the (view in opsgenie). I think this is due to a US / EU login thing, but i'm not too sure. They both have slightly different URLs.

Any ideas?

Hi Keith,

EU and US are in deed two different Opsgenie instances.

You can find some details here: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/european-service-region/

We use "our" EU instance to handle teams all around the globe so technically we don't have a need to use a dedicated US instance.

Hope this answers your question.

So it would seem we have 2 Opsgenies, one in each, both seem to be linked to our main atlassian account. One via the application menu and one via the project link for incidents.

How do I pick one to use and remove the other?>

Sorry, can't test this myself. Probably a question with more Atlassian administration know-how.

How do I get in touch with them as I don't see any links anywhere?

I have some good experience with just creating a support case via atlassian support page: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/
