Somewhat recently we've noticed that we are no longer getting text content in our email notifications (from Jira or Confluence). E.g. when someone comments on a ticket we used to get the actual comment text sent in the email notification. Now it just says their name and link to "view comment". As far as I can tell all configurations are correct and we've done nothing to invoke this change. We are on cloud SaaS Jira. Maybe there was a change made there recently to break this or remove it? It is a huge productivity killer to have to go into the Jira web client to see the actual comments or wiki page updates. Please help!
Do you have any updates? This issue is occurring within my organization as well.
Have a good day!

Hello @Mike Whelihan ,
Welcome to the Community !
I don't see any changes recently for the email notification.
Have you check with your JIRA admin about any recent changes - Or if that's for all users - please raise a support ticket with support.atlassian.com.
Also, related to comment issues - check with your email template in the jsm project email configuration.

Thank you for the quick response. It appears to be an issue for all users, but no one has tracked down the root cause.
I did check the project specific email settings and they seem to be fine.

Hi @Mike Whelihan
Did you get a response on the ticket you raised? We're suffering from the same issue. Most of us users in our project are outside the project owners organization. Not sure it that's the issue..
I would be very happy if there's an easy fix :)

Maybe @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_ can find an update on the ticket that Mike raised?
Thx
