When viewing Object via List view.
Set the Columns to see via Column icon
Navigate away from List View
On return to List view columns settings are gone and only defaults show
Would expect the Columns chosen to stick and not be lost if you navigate away from the page.
Hi there,
As of now, it's not possible to configure fixed columns for an object type - they will revert back to the default ones (key, name, created, and updated).
We have an open feature request for this to be implemented: JSDCLOUD-10649 Allow Administrators to set the default view for an Object Type for all users.
We encourage you to leave feedback and vote for this on the link above so it can be considered for implementation.
Cheers.
Hi Renata,
It's very important to implement this feature. We need to spend every time when we need to present or see the assets in row and columns.

We have not experienced the issue that you are encountering. Can you provide some screenshots of your issue to reproduce the problem, so I can review it in details and assist you further?

This has been happening for months. I configure all the columns. Then the next time I look they are all returned to what looks like the default list of Name, Key, Created and Updated. Something in jira is continually resetting the columns back to these defaults.

I also have this problem of the columns going to the default. I'm using Windows 11 and Chrome. I believe a co-worker uses a Mac and does not have the issue. It seems to reset every time I log back into jira.

It happened again. For every schema in Assets. Columns are set back to these defaults:
Icon - Key - Name - Updated - Created
This behavior started sometime in the Spring I believe. It's a regular occurence.

And it happened again. Every scheme. Every object type.

At this time, I would recommend you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) to report of this issue.
